The way that you wear the veil has a lot to do with how elegant and formal the veil is going to be. Some brides choose to wear the veil as more of a hair piece. It is possible to have a wedding veil woven into certain hair styles. In this case, the veil can be worn from the top of the head down the middle of the back. If you want to have a more elegant style, you will wear it on top of your hair, and have it flow both down your back and in front of your face.
Pressing your veil is crucial to ensuring it looks as elegant on your wedding day as it did when you tried it on in the store. Even informal veils need to be pressed before they can be worn. Elegant veils that are pressed and starched will flow down the length of your back without looking rigid.
