Creative & unique presents for bridal shower??

I have heard some creative ideas, but would like to have many to chose from. Scrapbooking basket (includes everything to scrapbook her wedding), romance kit etc. Things along those lines. Have you done anything creative?

One I saw at a shower was a laundry basket filled with cleaning supplies – things like sponges, paper towels, a small hand brush/tray, Mr. Clean products for bathroom and wood, Windex, etc.

Another one I saw that I really liked was a small garbage bin (the ones you put outside) filled with kitchen cooking supplies like bags of flour and sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinamon (and other spices), condiments (ketchup, mustard, relish), coffee and tea, etc.

These were both for girls who still lived with their parents when they got engaged, so didn’t have their own stuff to fill an apartment. You can do an excellent basket like this for under $50 easily.

I love the scrapbooking idea! I assume you know she’s into scrapbooking already so it would be okay for her. An album, various sheets of paper, lots of stickers, alphabet pads, different coloured brads, scissors, tape/glue, etc. That would definitely be more expensive but a lot of fun!

I threw my friend a shower and asked people to bring “bride only” gifts – ie: nothing for the house or from her registry. I bought her a purse and inside put things like a small perfume, lipstick, etc. Another thing I’ve done is put together a kit for her honeymoon – they were going to Hawaii so I got her this beach bag and put in sunscreen, bug spray, a new magazine and book for the airplane, etc.
