what is a fair location for a wedding?
first of all thanks for all the advice on Wedding Planning….i have another question. my fiance and I recently moved out to western nebraska to open my business. the town is great and has beautiful scenery (would be perfect for an outdoor wedding) however, all of my family is at least 512 hours away, and his family is 9 hours from here. is it fair to ask all of our family to travle so far for a wedding? or do you think it would be better to have the wedding at a half-way point (which would be around my hometown). also there is nothing around here as far as places to get a tux, dress, caterer…etc. should we take the time to travel to get the dresses and tuxes(not to mention all of my bridesmaids and his groomsmen live about 7 hours away)? it would be more convienent for the people in the wedding if we traveled for fitting porpuses. Im really stuck on this.. please help.
This is your and your honey’s wedding. If people want to be present they will come and make arrangements to get there. I got fitting here in GA for my bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding in July who lives in PA which is a 13 hour drive.
