What is a good, creative way to honor my father at my wedding?
We were going to have a slideshow w/music at the reception but we can’t find really nice pictures of him to put in it. So I need some new ideas. I don’t like “normal” ideas. I want something unique. I don’t want a memorial table, or a plant for him. ALso, i want more than just “in memory” in the bulletin. He loved fishing, and hunting A LOT. And the only special jewelry he has is his class ring and that is waay to big to wear on my finger and too bulky and ugly to wear on a necklace with my dress.

umm its me and my fiance’s wedding but I want to honor my dad in some special way because we were very close.
my dad didnt really listen to music much either. its really hard to figure out something that would go w/what he did/liked. we were thinking trucker hats w/pigs on it cuz he wore them all the time but that was 10+ yrs ago and would be impossible to find.
- at my aunt’s wake I did a slide-show. I didn’t have that many pictures so I separated the pictures with memories of my aunt. Since it was just to be played in the background there was no music, but you could easily add music if you like. It is a bit more of a memorial that just pictures. It will give you a chance to use words too. I used memories from my sibblings and cousins.

- Did he have a favorite flower you can carry in your bouquet?
- Instead of wearing the ring, have it attached your bouquet.
- have someone read a selection from his favorite book.
- If he had a favorite drink, use it to do a toast to him.
- Check on ebay for one of the hats he liked to wear. place it where he would have sat at your wedding. On your way down the aisle place a rose there.
